As creative human beings our journey here is not to decide "IF" we're going to matter, but rather "HOW" we'll matter at each step along the way.
Life is an endless stream of experiences. If we allow ourselves the opportunity to open to new creative ideas and experiences we will simultaneously expand our awareness.
The use of our imagination not only take us out of reality BUT draws us into OUR reality by co-creating the design of our life.
We become 'alive' when we notice the beauty that surrounds us. We are a part of a team, we are one, connected by a force that is greater than us.
Let's embrace each other and understand that each of us has a different story. Instead of judgement, lets acknowledge the differences of one another. For the differences in life is what makes us all unique. We are each a piece of the puzzle that fits together... We call this LIFE.

It's that time of year when the majority of us choose to reflect on what happened within the year. We begin to think of what we can improve on to achieve a better upcoming year. This is a great approach to walk off the old ‘2016‘ me, but what if we were to ask ourselves that question everyday? What steps will I take to walk off the old me to achieve the lifestyle I desire?
Reflecting on what can we improve on, what we are willing to keep, or what we can expand in our lives is a great start. Everything in our lives has a purpose and a reason to exist to serve us which then in return serves the whole matrix of experience. Everyday and every moment our purpose is being served for everything and everyone whose awareness we enter. We are destined to endlessly create and express our true inner light.
...Remembering it’s vital that we look at ourselves with compassion and grace for the mistakes we've made or acknowledge the good we've done. We’re on this creative journey together. Loving and accepting of ourselves and others is imperative to a healthy new step in the 'right' direction.
I encourage you to embrace what you want to keep and begin to make the choices that will enable you to walk off the old you.

I believe courage is when we speak from our heart and share our story with others. We can cultivate creative courage by painting, writing, connection, or poetry (...just to name a few). It takes courage to be vulnerable and share what’s in our hearts.
Expressing ourselves welcomes the light to shine onto our souls, releases the bondage of fear and invites others to share their story. Something magical happens when two or more souls are vulnerable at the same moment. A sense of belonging becomes ignited and a bond between the two individuals begins to form.
I encourage you to partake in an activity that challenges you or takes you out of your comfort zone. Grab a paint brush & paint, purchase a journal & write, attend a spoken-word event & speak, or spark a conversation with a stranger and connect.
When we start the process of cultivating creative courage, I believe, we begin to transform.

I believe to cultivate joy is to practice gratitude. Practice gratitude can be writing in a gratitude journal, or praying/meditating on gratitude. Whatever practicing gratitude looks like for you…take the leap and dive deep. Live in the place of Joy.

Your creativity is a treasure waiting to be unearthed!
According to Brené Brown (shame researcher) over 42% of people can remember an incident in childhood that shamed them so deeply around a creative act that it changed the way they viewed their creative-self. No wonder so many of us don’t think we’re creative!
Lets change the narrative to:
**I am a creative being who is willing to share my creativity with the world. I have something creative to give**
Unlock the inner treasures inside and shine SO bright that the world can see your creative treasure.
Start small... writing in a journal, sketching, coloring, or painting. Befriend your creative spirit. I define the unfolding of my treasures as a spiritual process rather than perfection. be graceful.

Open YOUR Heart to YOURSELF and others.
Trust the inner guidance you receive. Trust and welcome changes that are happening in your journey. Changes can sometimes be uncomfortable, but that's when the growth begins. Ride the wave. Be gentle and kind to yourself.
Relationships have blessings, growth lessons and love at the core. It's important to clarify, be honest and tell the truth about your motives to the people who are apart of your inner group. Opening your heart (honestly) will enable you to receive the 'gifts' from others then it's your turn to share the wisdom you've gained.
We are here to develop our lives, abilities, feelings, thoughts and behaviors. Enjoy the process and be aware of the magic that unfolds. Don't fear change. Embrace it. Reach out to others you love.You

Remember who you are. You’re Strong, Beautiful and Kind. You are made in the image and likeness of your creator, so you embody aspects of all those qualities. Don’t be afraid of your power, your magnificence, or wisdom. Embrace it!
When you change your life so it’s more aligned with your interest, your life will be magnified and enhanced. Take time for quiet reflections upon your true feelings. Be patient with yourself and others. Slow down. Breathe. Also, keep in mind everyone has a different prospective on situations. Instead of not listening or judging someone because they think differently than you, learn from them and ask questions.
In order to receive answers from the questions you are seeking your mind must be crystal clear about what you desire. Be conscious of every word you speak and each thought you have because it does have an impact on your journey. Heartspeak- speak to others from your heart.
Vulnerability can be a challenge, but it's when we face our challenges that we see the changes. Remember like a butterfly, you need to go through various stages before reaching your true potential. Enjoy every part of the journey and always trust the mystery.

Sharing a bit of me.
Transformation/Growth have been my teachers this week. A journey which allows me to let go of the heavy weight crippling my growth... I've grieved, spoken/listened to heartfelt words, released emotions, accepted and found peace in the discomfort. Most importantly learning everything I was 'searching' for comes within. To connect with an energy higher than myself (for me it’s GOD), embracing self-love, self-worth, trust and grasping there's no fear in love.
...So, Today I breathe and welcome the change. I will continue to paint my story & I encourage you to do the same!
